GARDEN ROUTE UNPLUGGED 10 DAY TOUR

WOW, WOW AND MORE WOW’S is just an tiny drop of satisfaction towards outdoor indulgement for the passion and love of our beautiful Mother Nature and Scenery Wonders here on the Garden Route of Southern Africa.

Myself (Eben) and two very interesting and knowledgable specimen took on the backroots of the very well known Garden Route which so many visitors and tourists to our country almost tick off the little MUST DO part of and adventurous vacation or retreat to the Southern Cape and Coast once leaving their habitats back home to come and explore list. Because of so many operators on the normal N2 and R62 routes the Team360 which consisted of Celine HD from France, Peter MAD MAX from Malmesbury and Eben Nator from Kakamas in the Northern Cape decided to discover the more gravel and so called farm roads or ‘twee spoor padjies’ from Cape Town to the Storms River and also back via the inland past Oudtshoorn and returning to the Swartland through Montagu and finishing in Simonstown.

So much was discovered and absolute fantastic new friendships was born that only to look at pictures and to re-tell this made tale more than a trip or expeditions is much worth trying yourself this 2011/12. Our accommodation consisted of no-real prior arranged or booked establishments and basically took the logistics and planning as one day at a time and where we encounter someone or place very new and interesting we took advantage of the sole quiteness and none traffic what so ever which the big coaches and tracks on the main roads deliver.

River Rafting traditional camp on the banks of the Breede River close to Rawsonville, luxury on beach accommodation and fresh seafood at Witsand, crossing rivers with man powered pont, hiking the full-length of the Robberg Peninsula Reserve, eating home made Kudu pies, witnessing recovery procedures on 4x4 trails and routes and much much more…
